Stephanie Powell has been a freelance photographer in Chicago and New York City for over 20 years. She has photographed for The Irish Arts Center, Citizen Watch Co., MW Studios, Poster House Museum, Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, Storm King Art Center, and numerous visual artists and art institutions. She has received residencies and fellowships with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Bric Arts Media, apexart, and the Jerome Foundation, to name a few. She is a current Photography Fellow for the Made in NYC photography initiative, which offers product and editorial photographic support for NYC-based manufacturers, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Photography Program at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
